Recently I have been so inspired by Ivette Ivens' photography and her unapologetic celebration of breastfeeding, as well as the arrival of my own nephew, now 6 months old. It was amazing to photograph the beautiful connection between Swedish-born Ninna and her 9 month old baby boy, Solan in this gorgeous California wilderness. Apparently Solan was born with that incredible mohawk! Thank you so much Ninna for sharing your wonderful little family with me and trusting me to take these photographs of you.
