Dresses for pregnancy photography

I have recently discovered the amazing Sew Trendy Accessories' maternity dresses, based in the US. They have a whole range of bespoke dresses, from floaty and sheer to fitted jersey and vintage lace. I particularly love the turquoise “wind-blown” gown featured in these pregnancy photos which is just perfect in this epic landscape. I would literally photograph everyone in this floaty dress if I could. But her radiant, serene expression is what really makes these portraits.

London maternity photography

I will soon be back in London and I’m already looking forward to photographing some beautiful mummies-to-be and their baby bumps there. Whilst the landscape in London might not be quite as dramatic, there are still some beautiful areas for outdoor portrait photos, including Richmond Park and Wimbledon Common, which are quite vast considering they are in the middle of London! Whether your personal style is feminine dresses (and even floral crowns!), or something more low key, my photography style is the same; very soft, flattering portraits making the most of beautiful natural light.
